Fourteen Continental Painted Clay Figurines, 19th century, likely Swiss or German, including a pair of figures of a peasant man and woman, ht. 8 in. and 7 3/8 in., finished on all sides, and twelve figures finished only to front, depicting genre groups and workers, in traditional or eighteenth-century dress, two bearing paper titles "Du Tessin," and "Bernois," and one mounted on an ebonized wood base, ht. 3 1/2 to 6 1/2 in.
