Georgian Burl Yew Veneer Desk, first quarter 19th century, hinged slant top opening to reveal internal leather-inset writing surface and superstructure of drawers and vertical compartments, all above four graduated drawers on four bracket feet, ht. 39 3/4, wd. 36 1/8, dp. 19 in. Scattered cracking and loss to veneer. Scattered worming. Usage wear to writing surface and compartments. Hinges and pulls replaced. Drawers relined or restored in areas.
