PRIVATE SIGNALS of the MERCHANTS of BOSTON Chromolithograph, Kramer & Co. Lithographer, Boston, second half 19th century, depicting 112 different Boston merchant flags with the names of each printed below, (toning, repaired tears on margins, one tear into image l.c.), sight size 41 1/2 x 31 in., in an ogee rosewwod veneer frame. Repaired tear u.l. corner, and three other tears alng left edge, about three tears on right margin 5 in tear into image l.c., not examined out of frame. The rosewood ogee frame with gilt liner is as old or older than the lithograph, may or may not be original.
