Gorham Sterling "Florenz" Center Bowl, 1930, with wide, downswept rim with low relief Renaissance Revival decoration of foliate strapwork and winged herms, with oak leaf border, rim further applied with six grotesque masks, on tiered foot with oak leaf border, wd. 13 1/4 in., approx. 40 troy oz., fitted with a removable elaborate silver plate flower frog. pinpoint dent to base, and a few light dings. some light surface wear from cleaning. small cartouche with possible monogram removal.
