Engraved Brass Striking Table Clock, Japan, 19th century, surmounted by a bell on a rectangular platform with four turned finials, the circular dial set with twelve hour markers reading against a pierced steel hand, with twin date apertures below, resting on a rectangular base with turned corner pillars and pierced sides, with winding key, further supported on a wood stand, 5 1/4 x 5 x 3 in. Note: With receipt and documents dated to 1965.
