Theophile Emile Achille de Bock (Holland/ Netherlands, 1851-1904). "Near the Dunes", oil on canvas, signed lower left "T. de Bock". Painting depicts a wide view of a pastoral landscape centered by a cottage or farmhouse with a large grouping of tall trees to the left, several fallen trees in the foreground, and rolling hills spreading out to the right. Plaque on frame below image "Thel. de Bock, Near The Dunes". Framed 24" x 34.5", unframed 12.75" x 23.75".
