Hendricus Spilman (Dutch, 1721-1784) The Abbey at Glons Unsigned, inscribed "Gelonster Clooster en t Lant v Luyk" along the top margin. Ink on paper, 2 x 3 1/4 in. (5.3 x 8.0 cm), framed. Condition: Sheet trimmed to image with small margin above, rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Sotheby's Amsterdam, Sale AM0824, November 6, 2001, Lot 170. N.B. The Abbey of Glons is situated 10 km south of Maastricht.
