Minoru Kawabata (Japanese, 1911-2001) Red Wave Signed "M Kawabata" on the reverse, identified on labels from The Betty Parsons Gallery, New York, and the Art Lending Service at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, affixed to the stretcher, titled in an inscription on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 29 x 36 in. (73.5 x 91.4 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime.
