Kennedy, John Fitzgerald (1917-1963) Typed Letter Secretarial Signature, 23 May 1960 Single page, typed on U. S. Senator John F. Kennedy for President letterhead. To Joseph Benedict, thanking him for congratulations on Kennedy's win in the West Virginia presidential primary, and encouraging sustained future support. Old folds, slight marginal toning, illegible ballpoint pen inscription beside the date, just under letterhead text, 8 1/2 x 11 in. Provenance: By descent through the family of Joseph T. Benedict (1912-1995), former president and chairman of Worcester Federal Savings Bank and Kennedy family friend.
