Empire-style Mahogany Veneer and Parcel-gilt Seating Suite, early 20th century, a settee and two side chairs, the settee with D-shaped seat back with mask-adorned fan-form mounts, and on dolphin-form stumps, on an upholstered seat and sabre legs, lg. 76, each chair with conforming crest and gilded mount, on circular upholstered seat and four sabre legs, seat ht. 19 in. One chair stained darker with extensive repairs to back. Other chair also with multiple repairs to back. Each with slight abrasions consistent with usage to legs. Settee with chip to veneer on center of bottom seat rail, small repair to left armrest, joint separation to right side leg, scattered cracking and small chips to gilded masks/ dolphin stumps.
