Bronze and Mirror-mounted Carved Jadeite, the jadeite China, 19th century, the mounts France, late 19th/early 20th century, retailed by Bointaburet, Paris, the russet-veined pale celadon-colored stone carved as two nesting cranes, on a rectangular mirrored base with canted corners and reeded frame, and four foliate feet, base impressed with retailer's mark and numbered "36711," total lg. 3 3/4 in. One foot with split seam. Loss to bronze element terminating at same foot. Jadeite in good condition.
