Four Double-series Opaque-twist Wineglasses, England, c. 1770, all with conical feet, two with ovoid bowls: one with a pair of corkscrew threads inside a multi-thread spiral band, ht. 5 1/8, the other with engraved band of flower sprays above a molded bowl on stem with two heavy spiral threads surrounded by multi-ply corkscrews, ht. 5 1/8; the third with molded ogee bowl on stem with pair of spiral tapes inside a ten-thread band, ht. 6, the fourth with bucket bowl with solid base on stem with a pair of spiral tapes surrounded by a multi-ply band, ht. 5 3/4 in. Bucket bowl with small chip to foot rim. All with light usage wear.
