Pair of Cobalt Ground and Parcel-gilt Converted Lamp Bases, each urn-form, with a lid and two handles, decorated allover with gilded moldings centering a cobalt register with a painted floral cartouche to one side and a painted scene of a couple to the reverse framed by applied gilt frames, each raised on a flared foot, further mounted on a gilt-painted circular base, electrified, ht. to top of lid 19 in. These both appear to be in very good condition with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
