Plastic and Rhinestone Bangle, c. 1950s, the wide clamper bracelet in navy blue inset with light blue rhine stones, interior circumference 6 1/2 in., together with a Bakelite clamper bangle in licorice with clear rhinestones, interior circumference 6 1/4 in. Note: Lots 421 to 543 come from the collection of Corinne "Corky" Davidov. Ms. Davidov co-authored "The Bakelite Jewelry Book" (1988) with Ginny Redington Dawes. Many lots in the collection are pictured in the book. Ms. Davidov also co-authored "The Victorian Jewelry Book" (1990) and is currently a writer for Lucire, a global fashion magazine. This collection was amassed over twenty years beginning with a few pieces owned by her mother.
