Painting depicts several male figures engaged in an intense battle scene in a meadow backed by a cliff wall, with a single figure centering the composition with a drawn sword in right hand and cape over left arm having just struck a figure to the right. Hang tag on verso of stretcher from Sotheby's as well as several stickers on stretcher indicating auction date and internal memos. Framed 59.25" x 49", unframed 50" x 40"._x000D_
