Model 1854 Austrian Lorenz Rifle Musket, c. 1861, beech stock with cheek rest, steel fittings, lockplate marked 861 with a faint Austrian eagle, has a tag attached which reads: This Civil War Musket rifle was given to me about 1939 by next door neighbor Mrs. Alice MacLean. She had it stored for many years in my shop attic with other belongings of hers. Wm. S. Sargent 9-8-2000 , lg. 52 1/2 in.
