Japanese Yagura Dokei and Cherry Stand, early 19th century, surmounted by a straight sided bell with domed top, brass case with floral engraving on back and sides, dial plate similarly engraved and with rotating chapter ring, fixed steel hand and twin date apertures, weight powered movement with verge escapement regulated by a short front mounted pendulum which swings in front of the dial, single brass weight, all supported on a tapering cherry base, ht. 28 in.
