Diary, Group of Documents, and Image of Alonzo B. Searing, c. late 19th century, painted image of Searing in his uniform coat, diary dated July 26th, 1864, a copy of the book ALONZO'S WAR , as well as original orders, one read before the Battle of Gettysburg, post-war Grand Army of The Republic documents, as well as the Temperance League, a post-war canteen and belt plate. Note: Alonzo B. Searing was a member of Company E, 11th Regiment New Jersey Volunteers. In 2012, Mary Searing O'Shaughnessy edited a book of compiled letters called "ALONZO'S WAR" .
