Very fine Pennsylvania Menonite religious book and bookplate , hand-drawn watercolor and ink on paper, for Susanna Hiestand, Upper Millford Township, Northampton County, 1799, the upper panel with elaborate star and stylized leaves and flowers arising from a heart with red and black script, the heart with a lozenge and leaf decorated border, the lower corners with checkerboard quarter rounds, all within a wavy line and dot border, executed in bold shades of red, yellow, green, and black, a superb example, the book printed by Billmeyer, Germantown, 1790, 5 1/4" x 3 1/8".
