“COQUETTISH LADY” Omega, No. 1413453, case No. 1501984. Retailed by R. Carassale Montevideo circa 1900. Very fine and rare, 18K gold lady`s keyless Art Nouveau pendant watch with repoussé decoration. This watch is sold with box, Certificate of Authenticity and a 2-year Omega guarantee. To be sold without reserve Three-body, “bassine et filet”, band and part of bezel and back florally chased, fully chiseled back with a coquettish lady. Hinged cuvette engraved “R. Carassale, Mondevideo”. White enamel with painted blue Arabic numerals, outer gilt dot minute and pyramidal silver five minute divisions, sunk subsidiary dial with blue Arabic ten-minute track. Gold “Louis” hands. Cal. 10’’’LOC, frosted gilt, 18 jewels, four in screwed gold chaton, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 27 mm. Notes The decoration of this case is unusual in that the motis continue unninterrupted around the case band and bezel.
