THE FRENCH 75 CH Time, French, sculpted by A. Jourdain. Made circa 1900. Unusual bronze and brass clock in the shape of a French 75 artillery cannon. To be sold without reserve Bronze and brass, the clock in the shape of a wheel attached to the cannon via slide, the cannon sitting atop a separately forged base resembling ground. Gilt with radial Roman numerals, cannon wheel pattern in separate tone. Blued steel spade hands. Circular, 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement. Dim. 94 x 38 cm
