Le Corbusier (Swiss/French, 1887-1965) Femme à la main levée, 1954. Initialed and dated within the matrix, inscribed "CH SORLIER GRAV. LITH" within the matrix l.l., identified on a label from the Obelisk Gallery, Chestnut Hill, on the backing. Color lithograph on paper, image size 42 1/2 x 26 5/8 in. (107.8 x 67.5 cm), framed. Condition: Pale staining to edges, possible subtle fading, not examined out of frame. The full sheet is visible in the frame (and shifts, implying that it is not glued or hinged in any way), and measures 43 5/8 x 27 1/2 in. (110.5 x 69.8 cm). The works is inscribed "CH SORLIER GRAV. LITH" within the matrix l.l. The staining (probably from water) is minor.
