American EuropeanOmega Watch Co. , Swiss, No. 2524974, produced in 1905.Fine and rare, 14K multicolored gold, hunting-cased, keyless watch with an unusual American case and a fancy dial. Four body, "bassine" with scalloped edge, full box-hinged, by "Solidarity", N. 421479, elaborate floral and foliate decoration of applied rose, green and yellow gold, border with engraved stars on vermicelli background, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel with blue Arabic numerals on light blue ring, outer gold paillon and ruby-paste minute ring, center with gold paillon pattern, recessed subsidiary seconds. Rose gold "Spade" hands. Notes This is an excellent example of the cooperation between European movement makers and American case-making companies. The movement was made according to the American size specification so that it could be fitted with an American case.
