Miniature Yellow Gold and Ivory Mounted Chocolate Pot, possibly Asian, unmarked, the pot paneled pear shaped, lid with ball finial, with ivory handle set at right angle to the spout, carved at end with the figure of a climbing monkey, ht. 2 1/4 in., approx. dwt 37.5 (including ivory). Ivory handle with two lines. Handle pushed unto body slightly. Pot with pinpoint dent under handle, a few light dings to bulbous portion of body, and light base rim dings. tiny bend to tip of spout. Interior rim of lid with a few light dings. Interior with surface scratching.
