Mixed Metal Gem-set Earclips, Vicki Eisenfeld, c. 1990, of 14, 18, and 22kt gold and other metals, centering shaped opal tablets, and synthetic blue topaz triangles, dia. 1 3/4 in., signed. Note: Vicki Eisenfeld's studio in West Hartford, Connecticut, is the place where she imagines and produces her elaborately woven mixed metal jewelry. It often has a sculptural quality to it that verges on the monumental, but these earclips represent a more wearable form.
