Rare KPM China Lady with Wig, Germany, c. 1845, flesh-toned glazed porcelain shoulder head, painted and molded features with blue eyes, long slender nose, closed slightly smiling mouth, very unusual model made to accept a wig, dome head with seven pierced holes surrounding the bald head, brown human hair wig with fancy braids, cloth body with kid leather arms, wearing a cream silk velvet dress with green satin trim and underskirt, matching hat, lace under-blouse, and brown high-button boots, ht. 17 in., (excellent, missing one boot heel, head not removed from body to find markings). Excellent, missing one boot heel.
