China Lady with Portrait-type Face, Germany, c. 1850, attributed to Kloster Veilsdorf, glazed porcelain shoulder head, painted and molded features with blue eyes, well painted and molded black hair with center part and sausage curls, also swept back into a coiled braided bun in back with molded comb, cloth body with kid leather arms, wearing a two-piece costume with metallic trimmed brown velvet jacket and red wool skirt, ht. 24 in., (very good, light overall kiln dust under glaze).
