Two Wedgwood Mounted Ivory Boxes, England, early 19th century, each rectangular box set with Wedgwood jasper medallions, one oval shape with an oval dark blue medallion with applied white classical figure in relief, overall lg. 3 1/4 in.; a rectangular with two three-color medallions having a green border with white relief to a lilac center; to either side of an octagonal dark blue with white relief, overall lg. 3 1/2 in. The medallions to each box are in very good condition; the boxes each have a lare split across the top. Oval: Interior with a chip to the rim and pretty well gutted. The mirror is still intact. Rectangular: One end of the cover having a large break and simply reglued; interior fittings all intact; the mirror is cracked.
