Wedgwood Four Color Jasper-mounted Ivory Plaque, England, early 19th century, the octagonal shaped ivory the top of a patch box, central octagonal jasper medallion with applied white classical figures and foliate border to a black ground bordered with a light blue and a lilac trim, approximate size 3/4 x 1 1/2 in.; surrounding by small dark blue dipped medallions with white flowers attached and bordered with cut steel beads, plaque lg. 3 1/2 in.; all mounted in a giltwood and black painted shadow box, 7 7/8 x 9 7/8 in. The ivory has a horizontal crack running through most of the lower third of the body. One of the dark blue medallions with a small corner chip.
