L. Tavernier (Paris), circa 1800. Notes Debaufre type frictional rest escapements on a Lepine caliber, are extremely rare. This unusual escapement is usually set on watches with full plate movement and therefore difficult to be seen property. This watch appears to be unique in the work of Louis Tavernier.
