English Medallion-mounted and Patinated Gilt-metal Snuff Box, early 19th century, oval, with engraved rims patinated with silver and traces of green, the hinged lid mounted with a black and white profile medallion of a gentleman set under glass, medallion sight lg. 1 1/8, box wd. 2 7/8 in. the medallion likely porcelain, but potentially glass (no examined out of mounting). some pitting/corrosion to interior surface of box. light age wear throughout, with significant wear to the green coloration.
