Chinese Export Reticulated Silver Center Bowl, Shanghai, Hung Chong & Co. , late 19th/early 20th century, the lobed ovoid body pierced with panels of writhing dragons, with four pierced lappets to rim, winged dragon herm handles, on quatrefoil stem, and round base on four stylized openwork dragon feet, ht. 6 5/8 in., approx. 31 troy oz. good, with minor age wear. interior shows small spots of solder at one area, likely from manufacture, but possibly repairing a reticulation break (visible only from interior, not exterior).
