Chinese Export Silver Compote, Hong Kong, early 20th century, Wang Hing & Co. , makers, the bowl with ogee rim over panels chased and embossed with figures, birds and animals amidst foliage, and dragons, on addorsed dragon-form stem and slightly domed foot accenting with stylized waves, ht. 5, dia. 6 1/2 in., approx. 13 troy oz. sloped slightly to one side (likely from bend in dragon or bolt inside dragon). slight scratching to underside of bowl from top of stem.
