Chinese Export Silver Compote, Hong Kong, late 19th/early 20th century, Wang Hing & Co. , makers, bowl with double ogee rim, chased and embossed with panels enclosing dragon heads, figures, and branches, on addorsed dragon-form stem, round knop, and slightly domed foot with leaftip band, the edge of foot engraved with small inscription, "Dancing Souvenir 1903-1904 from the Visitors," ht. 7 5/8, dia. 7 1/2 in., approx. 23 troy oz. stem showing very slight compression of stem onto foot. tarnish.
