American Aesthetic Movement Marquetry-inlaid and Ebonized Side Table, c. 1885, rectangular top inlaid with scrolling foliage, flowerheads to the corners and with floral crossbanding, open spindle-inset frieze with paneled center section, on reeded circular legs, ht. 28, wd. 27 1/2, dp. 19 1/4 in. Glossy, later finish to top; one quadrant of top with numerous tiny losses to ebonizing (not dents but little pin sized dots); age typical minor scuffing and small dents and losses.
