Chang Uc-Chin (1917-1990), Untitled Landscape, Korea, 1982, depicting a tree on a hill with a bird perched on the tree top, with a house, a dog, and a boy, all against a creamy background with a red sun, signed in Chinese characters reading "uc" and "1982," oil on cardboard, framed, painting 7 1/8 x 5 1/2 in. Provenance: Given in the 1980s by the artist to his niece, the present owner's late wife, who worked as an associate professor at a university in California, per the verbal family history of the current owner.
