Framed Stumpwork Picture, England, 19th century, rectangular format with man on horseback centering falconers, a lion and unicorn at either corner, dated 1646 by a crown, overall 12 3/4 x 19 1/4 in. Shown to textile specialist who dated it to 1880's as opposed to 17th century. Soiling throughout. No significant tears or split. Good overall. Frame heavily chipped and with acid burn through the backing.
