Attributed to Gasparo Diziani (Italian, 1689-1767) Lot and His Daughters Unsigned, inscribed with an inventory number in pencil l. r. on the reverse, identified on a label affixed to the mat. Ink, graphite, and wash on laid paper, sheet size 10 x 7 5/8 in. (25.5 x 19.4 cm), unframed. Condition: Crease or old repair u.r. quadrant, scattered minor staining to the reverse. Drawing is mounted at edges to window of mat, allowing for the viewing through the paper when held up to light. Please see photos. Staining to corners on verso. Residue in the corners verso may be from an old mount. Imperfection in u.r. corner measures about 1 inch and appears to be a crease rather than a repaired tear.
