Plate number within the plate u.r. Etching with aquatint on laid paper, plate size 9 5/8 x 14 in. (24.3 x 35.3 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Gentle cockling, pale staining. The sheet has no watermark but measures 10 1/8 x 14 1/4 inches. The staining is pale and is primarily outside of the image (though some is within the plate mark). There is a 4mm repaired tear to the image near the spearhead. There is also a crease to the right edge that goes into the plate mark, but not the image.
