Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (Spanish, 1746-1828) Lot of Two Framed Plates from Los Caprichos : El Vergonzoso (Plate 54) and Linda maestra (Plate 68) Linda signed "Goya" in the plate, "Vergonzoso unsigned, both titled in the plates, posthumous printings. Etchings and aquatint on paper, images sizes to 7 1/2 x 4 5/8 in. (19.0 x 11.9 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, scattered foxing, Vergonzoso with staining to l.r. corner, not examined out of frames. Literature: Harris 89 and Harris 103, respectively.
