New England Rifle, c. 1840, 43-inch octagonal barrel, brass and steel furniture including steel lockplate marked "T/KETLAND & Co." with engraved decoration at the tail, faceted brass trigger guard, brass patchbox with engraved designs and button latch, faceted turned brass ramrod pipes, checkered grip, cherry stock with silver inlaid filigree designs around the tang, wooden ramrod. Good condition with original brown on barrel, original ramrod.
