Cherry Case Chippendale Tall Clock, attributed to Joakim Hill, New Jersey, c. 1810, with case attributed to Mathew Edgerton, with scroll top and pierced tympanum, free-standing columns flanking the glazed dial door, serpentine waist door with chalk inscriptions, Kennedy Miller, Elizabethtown, Joachim Hill Fleminton, NJ, January 25 1849 , raised panel and flat molded base, (replacement ogee feet with the clock), 12-inch painted dial with Roman numerals and ship in the arch, eight-day time and strike movement with two lead weights and pendulum, ht. 94 1/2 in. brass finials are replacements, replacement ogee feet are off the clock, but accompanies the lot, period lead weights and pendulum.
