Singing Bird Automaton, probably by Greisbaum, with celluloid case, brass lid which opens to reveal the singing bird automaton with green, gray, and red plumage, moving perch, wings and beak all set on a pierced brass stage, small watch movement and dial with Arabic numerals mounted in the front of the case and hinged back for storage of the key, wd. 3 3/4, dp. 2 1/2, ht. 1 3/8 in. Bird sings and moves briskly, movement could use lubrication, hairline surface crack on top.
