Meissen Figural Group The Good Father , Germany, 19th century, the father seated on a settee, his three children surrounding him, originally modeled by Schonheit in 1785, with gilt details and first quality crossed sword mark to base, ht. 8 1/4 in. Father: chip to hat. Boy on lap: loss and inpainting to plume on hat. Boy in turquoise: repair and inpainting to back of head. Scattered minor loss to enamel and gilt. First quality mark.
