Paul Joseph Constantin Gabriel (Dutch, 1828-1903) Landscape in Holland Signed "Gabriel f" l. r., identified on a label affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 11 3/8 x 18 1/4 in. (29.0 x 46.5 cm), framed. Condition: Fine craquelure, canvas deformation, yellowed varnish, surface grime. Canvas deformation along lower edge which extends up about 1 inch from the frame liner and consists of three bulges spaced across the bottom and a dimple just to the left of the signature. Minor paint losses l.c. at top of one of the bulges.
