Anne Wilson Goldthwaite (American, 1869-1944) Alabama Cottage Signed "GOLDTHWAITE" l. l., identified on a partial label from Downtown Gallery, New York, affixed to the frame, inscribed "ALABAMA" and "ANNE GOLDTHWAITE/112 E 10 STREET/NYC" in pencil on the stretchers. Oil on canvas, 15 x 18 in. (38.1 x 45.7 cm), in an artisanal silver leaf frame. Condition: Surface grime. Surface accretions along top frame liner--would benefit from a cleaning; no additional condition issues to report.
