Etching depicting a seated male concert pianist playing a black grand piano in a performance on a stage with curtains and sconces in the background. Figure's hats and tops of heads are visible at the bottom of the scene alluding to the audience. Verso with remnant from New York's The Evening World newspaper dating from Tuesday, December 26, 1922 on Brooklyn Society of Etchers awards to artists including the Alabaman artist Goldthewaite. Pencil signed in lower margin. Framed 13.5" x 14". Image size approximately 5" x 6".
