[Together with] two copies of Thomas Williams's The Hair of Harold Roux , New York: Random House, 1974, both stated first editions in dust jackets; and Whipple's Castle , New York: Random House, 1968, in publisher's cloth and jacket. John Irving was a student of Thomas Williams at the University of New Hampshire. Williams's The Hair of Harold Roux won the National Book Award for Fiction in 1975.
