A Leaf of the Easter Sunday Mass from an English Missal. Antiphonary manuscript on vellum. Contains the complete text and music of an Easter Mass. Floral ornamentations in brown, blue and pink on the margins with three representations of the Green Man in the corners and a multicolored bird on the right hand side. The main capital is decorated with leaves and heads of animals in a grotesque style. Celtic knot design in the bottom center margin. Highlights in gold. Verso has some simple marginal decorations. Housed in custom chemise and quarter red leather slipcase. Left edge attached to mat with an archival adhesive strip not affecting content of the leaf; otherwise fine. 11 x 17 inches.
