A light brown wig custom made for Mickey Rooney for an unknown MGM production. The wig is made of human hair and hand tied one strand of hair at a time to a lace mesh with silk bands in the interior to give the appearance of a scalp. Studio wigs at the time were custom made and fitted to measure by the star's head and hairline. An MGM label reads "1062" with a corresponding MGM wig stock record card inscribed "1062 M. Rooney." The wig was acquired from MGM upon the closure of its hair and wig department. Categories: Mickey Rooney
